Tony Blair met Tareq al-Hashemi in Downing Street on Monday to discuss the latest plan for Iraq.
The PM and the Iraqi Vice-President discussed President Bush’s proposals, revealed last week, and "how to implant them, and dovetail what we are doing in Basra with that plan," said the PM’s official spokesperson.
The Iraqi Government had said today that it fully supported the plan, the PMOS added.
