9 February 2007

Tony Blair and Stephen Fry chat for a Downing Street podcast Comedian and actor Stephen Fry joins Tony Blair for a chat in our latest podcast.

The pair met in the Pillared Room of Number 10 for a wide-ranging conversation about multiculturalism, the use of technology in politics and Britain’s role in the global community.

Mr Blair reveals his belief that Britain is more comfortable than ever before with being "diverse, plural and tolerant".

There are also anecdotes about Mo Mowlam and reflections on the modern use of red boxes - as well as how important it is to be liked.

Stephen Fry is the latest well-known face to drop in for an informal chat with the PM.

In recent weeks Chris Evans, Seb Coe and Bill Bryson have also recorded podcasts for our website.
