Tottenham and England stars Paul Robinson and Ledley King headed to Number 10 to help launch a community football project.

We’re here today to launch the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation. What we’re hoping to do is create a lot of sporting opportunities and opportunities for young people, not just for sports, but educational opportunities and social inclusion activities, as well.
What we had today was a group of young people from one of our local projects. The basis of that is football, but we do also get involved in other activities such as contemporary dance and healthy living. The other was a disability group, and they had league activities and activities that are run every week. The Prime Minister has been involved in other activities that we’ve done. I think he’s taken a keen interest in the work that we’ve been doing.
Spurs have been pioneering activities from a footballing perspective. I think that’s why the Prime Minister’s been involved today.
