The Queen has been pleased to approve that Sir Nicholas Richard Pumfrey be sworn of Her Majesty’s most honourable Privy Council on his appointment as a Lord Justice of Appeal.

Sir Nicholas (Richard) Pumfrey: Born 1951. Educated at St Edward’s School, Oxford; St Edmund Hall, Oxford (BA Physics, 1972, Law, 1974).
Called to the Bar, Middle Temple, 1975; QC 1990; Bencher, 1998; Judge of the High Court of Justice, Chancery Division, since 1997. Kt 1997.
