Lord-Lieutenant for the area of Clackmannan

The Queen has been pleased to approve the appointment of Mrs Sheena Cruickshank as the Lord-Lieutenant for the Area of Clackmannan upon the retirement of Colonel Robert Stewart CBE on 3 August this year.

Notes for Editors

Mrs Cruickshank (65) has been a Deputy Lieutenant since 1998. She has been a Justice of the Peace for 11 years and has given generously of her time to national charities in Clackmannan. She was a school auxiliary working with special needs children for 10 years. She has been married for 44 years and her husband is a former Director of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and an auxiliary Minister in the Church of Scotland. They have three grown-up children.
