The Queen has been pleased to approve that Dr Christopher Pelling MA be appointed Regius Professor of Greek in the University of Oxford in succession to Professor Peter Parsons MA FAB who will be retiring on 30th September this year.
Biographical Details
Dr Pelling (55) is currently McConnell Laing Fellow and Praelector in Classics, University College, Oxford; Visiting adjunct Professor, Department of History, Utah State University.
