The Prime Minister has re-appointed Mr Adam Afriyie as a Governor of the Museum of London for a further term of four years with effect from 26th July.

Biographical Details

Adam Afriyie was first appointed to the Board in July 2000 and is a keen advocate for the use of Information Technology in museums. He is currently chairman of DeHavilland Information Services plc who provide online political, governmental, and current affairs information to some of the UK’s largest organisations. In addition, he is founder and Managing Director of Connect Support Services Limited, an IT services company.

He holds no other public appointments.

The Museum of London maintains and exhibits collections of the history of London and provides the Museum of London Archaeological Service and the Museum of London Specialist Services. Governors do not receive remuneration.
