The Queen has been pleased to approve that Sir Roger John Laugharne Thomas be sworn of Her Majesty’s most honourable Privy Council on his appointment as Lord Justice of Appeal.

Called to the Bar, Gray’s Inn, 1969; QC, 1984; Bencher, 1992; a Recorder, 1987-96; a Judge of the High Court of Justice, Queen’s Bench Division since 1996: Judge of the Commercial Court since 1996; Presiding Judge, Wales and Chester Circuit, 1998-2001.
