The Queen has been pleased to approve that Sir Robert Raphael Hayim Jacob be sworn of Her Majesty’s most honourable Privy Council on his appointment as a Lord Justice of Appeal.

Awarded Knighthood, 1993.
Called to the Bar, Gray’s Inn, 1965; QC, 1981; Bencher, 1989; Deputy Chairman, Copyright Tribunal, 1989-93; appointed to hear appeals to Secretary of State under the Trade Marks Acts, 1988-93; Judge of the High Court of Justice, Chancery Division, since 1993.
