Lord-Lieutenant for Caithness

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Miss Anne Dunnett DL as Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant for Caithness upon the retirement of Major Graham Dunnett TD.

Biographical Notes

Miss Anne Dunnett (61) is no relation to the current Lord Lieutenant and has been a Deputy Lieutenant since 1999. Miss Dunnett gained her legal qualifications whilst working full time as a law clerkess and retired six years ago from her own legal practice in Wick. She is a Honorary Sheriff at Wick and is involved in church work, voluntary healthcare work and the Caithness Family History Society. She was involved with youth work in Girl-Guiding and Christian Endeavor.
