Victoria and Albert Museum

The Prime Minister has reappointed Peter Rogers, Rob Dickins CBE and Professor Margaret Buck as Trustees of the Victoria & Albert Museum, for a period of four, three and two years respectively. Peter Rogers' reappointment comes into effect from 6 August 2004, with those of Rob Dickins and Margaret Buck being with effect from 1 October and 2 November 2004 respectively.
Biographical Notes
Peter Rogers is a civil engineer and Director and co-founder of Stanhope plc, playing a prominent role in the construction industry for 34 years. He has been adviser to a number of major art projects including the Whitechapel Art Gallery, the National Gallery's Sainsbury Wing, Glyndebourne and the Royal Opera, Tate Modern and the Serpentine Gallery.
Rob Dickins CBE has been in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years during which time he chaired the record industry trade organization, the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for seven years.
Professor Margaret Buck is Head of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, and is also Assistant Rector of the University of Arts London.
Peter Rogers, Rob Dickins and Professor Margaret Buck have not been involved in any political activity in the last five years.

The Victoria & Albert Museum houses collections of fine and applied art, craft and design. It includes the National Art Library, and the Trustees also manage the Theatre Museum and the National Museum of Childhood at Bethnal Green. Trustees of the Victoria & Albert Museum are not remunerated.
