The Queen has been pleased to approve that Sir David Edward KCMG and Francis Jacobs Esq be sworn of Her Majesty’s most honourable Privy Council.

Francis Geoffrey Jacobs: Born 1939. Called to the Bar, Middle Temple, 1964; Bencher 1990; QC, 1984; Professor of European Law, University of London, 1974-88; Director, Centre of European Law, King’s College, London, 1981-88; UK Advocate General, Court of Justice of the European Communities since 1988.
