Exclusive insight into PM’s working life

Tony Blair reflects on a Taking a break during a typically busy day inside 10 Downing Street, Tony Blair confides that "nothing prepares you for the difficulty of being Prime Minister".

In our brand new film we profile just a few of the many engagements and duties the PM carries out on a regular basis, offering a rare glimpse into his world.

The Downing Street website cameras followed the Prime Minister around for several days as he visited a school, spoke in Parliament and delivered a major policy speech.

We were also given exclusive access to a Cabinet Committee at Number 10 - the first time cameras have ever been allowed into such a meeting.

The PM tells us "there is never a typical day, all days are different" but adds:

"When you get things done and you see results, and you think, well, in part, that happened as a result of something I did, or we did, or decisions that were taken here, that’s what makes everything worthwhile and it’s an enormous privilege to be able to do it."
