The Queen has been pleased to approve that Malcolm Gray Bruce MP, James Donnelly Touhig MP and Nigel Keith Anthony Standish Vaz MP be sworn of Her Majesty’s most honourable Privy Council.

Malcolm Bruce
Member of Parliament for Gordon since 1983. Liberal Democrat spokesman for environment, food and rural affairs, from 2001 to 2002; trade and industry from 2003 to 2005.
Don Touhig
Member of Parliament for Islwyn since 1995. PPS to the Chancellor of the Exchequer from 1997 to 1999; an Assistant Government Whip from 1999 to 2001; Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Wales Office from 2001 to 2005 and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Defence, 2005 to 2006.
Keith Vaz
Member of Parliament for Leicester East since 1987. Parliamentary Secretary to the Lord Chancellor’s Department in 1999 and Minister of State (Minister for Europe) in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office from 1999 to 2001.
