February 5 to February 9

This is where we reflect on some of the main business carried out by Tony Blair this week.

You will find a number of links within the text which will take you to the relevant story or transcript as well as a few external links which you will find useful.

Facing the future

Tony Blair tackled questions on the big issues during an appearance at the Commons Liaison Committee. The PM, who gives evidence to the panel of MPs twice a year, began the session with a presentation about the Government's policy review process.

He reflected on a number of issues, including how Britain needs to do more to reduce its carbon emissions, but had done "more than most" to tackle climate change. Mr Blair also said that the UK faces a "huge question" over the future direction of foreign policy.

Full stop to cruelty

Comedian and actor Stephen Fry joined Tony Blair for a chat in our latest podcast. The pair met in the Pillared Room of Number 10 for a wide-ranging conversation about multiculturalism, the use of technology in politics and Britain's role in the global community.

Also this week, the PM praised the NSPCC's Full Stop campaign which has raised more than £250 to end cruelty to children.  At Wednesday's PMQs, Iraq, climate change and the NHS were on the agenda. Afterwards, Mr Blair met Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty.

Foreign policy focus
